Living a Dream

Born and raised in Sacramento California, Jeremy White grew up being the oldest of his brothers and sisters. Next door in his families Sacramento house, lived his best friend Mike, little did he know that he would hold this friend close for the rest of his life. When in the 3rd grade all he could think of was being able to play an instrument at his elementary school, just like his best friend Mike who was a year older than him, and was allowed to play and instrument. Finally, when it came time, Jeremy had the privilege to play and instrument at his elementary school, and he did, the drums. After this time he could not stop playing music, he absolutely loved it. Jeremy associated himself with musicians all throughout middle school and even in high school, it was the people who he was most comfortable with and could easily relate to.

When he was in High school he attended Sacramento High School, where he joined the marching band playing the...you guessed it drums. Jeremy had the passion for music and he knew it, he attended college for a few years and was offered a position in a Japanese band. Jeremy was all over it, it had been his dream to tour with a signed band. So he left the states and traveled the world. When he returned Jeremy was eager to join another band and he did. He ended up traveling with famous people form bands like Weezer, Perfect Circle and Nine inch nails. With this band he traveled the most and loved it, he loved to see the world and he was interested in how people lived in different countries. Jeremy said that traveling to different countries around the world showed him that developed countries such as the US need to be grateful of what we have such as food and freedom (to be broad) because in other countries for people to have many rights and freedoms is a joke and you must work extremely hard to get to a point in your life where you are financially stable.

Unfortunately Jeremy decided not to join touring bands because he was not into the same things as the other band members like drugs, and prostitutes. This made it difficult for him to get along with the other band mates and sparked fights. Even though Jeremy has not continued his dream, he still pursues music and plays it locally and often. Jeremy works hard daily to keep his self-ran business afloat and paying his bills, although he is convinced in ten years he will be relaxing on the beach with out a care.
